The Linzhen Multi-plate Screw Press Sludge Dewatering Machine (Model 302) is an advanced screw-type sludge dehydrator developed by Qingdao Linzhen Environment Project Co., Ltd. with over 21 years of industry expertise. Engineered for superior solid-liquid separation, this equipment fundamentally outperforms conventional belt presses, centrifuges, and plate-and-frame filter presses. The main body consists of a precision filter device formed by the mutual stacking of fixed rings and moving rings, with a spiral shaft running through the entire assembly to create continuous thickening and dewatering action.

Working Principle
The dewatering process operates through a two-stage continuous mechanism within a fully enclosed system that ensures environmental containment and operational safety.
Stage 1: Gravity Thickening Zone
When the spiral shaft is driven by the precision reduction gearbox, the moving rings around the shaft move relatively up and down in a continuous self-cleaning motion. Conditioned sludge entering the thickening zone undergoes preliminary dewatering as free water is pushed out through the precision gaps between the fixed and moving rings. Most of this water falls into the integrated filtrate pool due to gravity, significantly reducing the sludge volume and increasing solids concentration before mechanical compression begins.
Stage 2: Mechanical Squeeze Dewatering Zone
The concentrated sludge moves continuously from the thickening area into the dewatering zone. As the pitch of the screw shaft thread becomes progressively narrower along the length of the chamber, the pressure within the filter chamber becomes higher and higher. A back pressure plate at the discharge end generates substantial counter-pressure. The combined action of these forces greatly presses the sludge, producing consistently formed sludge cakes that discharge automatically from the sludge outlet port under the continuous propulsion of the screw shaft.
Continuous Self-Cleaning Action
The unique relative motion between the fixed rings and moving rings creates automatic self-cleaning with every rotation of the shaft. This eliminates the need for traditional filter cloth replacement and prevents blockage even when processing oily or fibrous sludge that would rapidly clog conventional dewatering equipment.
