What Is an MBBR Integrated Treatment Unit?

An MBBR Integrated Wastewater Treatment Unit is a compact packaged sewage treatment system that combines Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor technology with sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection processes inside a single containerized structure.

The system utilizes specially designed biofilm carriers as a growth medium for microorganisms. These carriers move freely within the aerated reactor, allowing microorganisms to efficiently degrade organic pollutants and remove nitrogen compounds.

By combining suspended growth and attached growth biological treatment, MBBR technology provides:

At the heart of the LINZHEN package sewage treatment unit is the advanced MBBR biological treatment process.

The system uses specially engineered plastic bio-media carriers with complex internal structures and large protected surface areas. These carriers provide an ideal environment for microorganisms to attach, grow, and form stable biofilms.

During operation:

  1. Wastewater enters the biological reactor.
  2. Bio-media carriers remain suspended through continuous aeration.
  3. Microorganisms attached to the carriers degrade organic pollutants.
  4. Nitrogen compounds are removed through biological nitrification and denitrification.
  5. Treated wastewater proceeds to clarification, filtration, and disinfection.

Construction Quality & Internal Components

The unit is housed in a corrugated steel container that provides enhanced structural rigidity and durability for transportation and long-term outdoor operation. The container shell is sandblasted to create a uniform rough surface, then coated with a triple-layer anti-corrosion system — zinc-rich primer, intermediate epoxy coat, and protective top coat — ensuring strong adhesion, excellent rust resistance, and long-term surface protection.

The movable structural design of the control room makes it easier to maintain or relocate during equipment replacement or system expansion.

The system is composed of seven integrated treatment units:

A: TT and L/C are acceptable and TT will be more appreciated. 30% deposit before producing, 70% balance before loading by TT.

A: It depends on order quantities. Generally speaking, the delivery time will be within 4 to 6 weeks.

How to pack the products?
A: We use standard package. If you have special package requirements, we will pack as required, but the fees will be paid by customers.

How to keep your equipments from corrosion?
A: We use the world-famous paint, like SigmaCoatings, PainBow, etc. What’s more, we paint strictly according to the standard process.

How do you manufacture your equipment?
A: Our machining technology includes laser/plasma cutting, automatic welding, CNC cutting and bending.

How to install after the equipments arriving destination?
