Our Key Advantages
Successfully delivered wastewater treatment projects across multiple countries and industries. With an extensive project portfolio, we possess in‑depth knowledge of local environmental regulations and wastewater characteristics.

High-efficiency lamella sedimentation unit for raw water purification, municipal & industrial wastewater treatment, water reuse, and water plant renovation & upgrading projects.
A Lamella Clarifier is a high-performance solid-liquid separation equipment developed based on the shallow-bed sedimentation theory. By adopting lamella inclined-tube packing, it greatly expands the effective settling area and shortens particle settling distance to realize fast gravity-driven solid-liquid separation. Supplied as a complete skid-mounted package, the unit can be pre-fabricated and fully custom-engineered according to treatment capacity, raw-water / wastewater characteristics, site footprint constraints, retrofitting conditions and target effluent requirements.

Surface-water and industrial water projects commonly face pain points: turbidity surges in rainy seasons, massive silt inflow during flood periods, high-density suspended solids, fine inorganic particles and metal-hydroxide flocs. Conventional horizontal sedimentation tanks occupy huge floor space, require long hydraulic retention time and deliver poor clarification under shock-load conditions.
Water treatment projects frequently encounter practical challenges such as limited plant land space, expansion & retrofitting of existing water plants, seasonal raw-water quality fluctuation, rainy-season water shock and constrained project budgets. Meanwhile systems need to switch among multiple working scenarios: raw-water pretreatment, process-water preparation and advanced wastewater polishing. The packaged skid-mounted Lamella Clarifier features compact layout, flexible modular configuration and fast on-site assembly, perfectly suiting both green-field construction and existing-plant upgrading scenarios.
In addition, the Lamella Clarifier exhibits excellent anti-shock loading capacity. For river surface raw water, water quality fluctuates drastically due to monsoon rains, flood events and soil erosion. Equipped with a complete coagulation-flocculation dosing system, the lamella unit handles sharp spikes of influent suspended solids, turbidity, silt and fine particulate impurities. Stable clarification performance can be maintained even under instantaneous hydraulic and pollutant load fluctuations.
It delivers outstanding removal performance for gravity-settleable contaminants: river silt, mineral particles, metal-precipitation flocs, dense inorganic flocs and turbidity-causing suspended matter are separated by gravity. The lamella inclined-tube module significantly increases equivalent settling area and shortens settling distance. Pollutant flocs attach to the inner surface of inclined tubes and slide down by gravity into bottom sludge hoppers, substantially reducing the processing burden of downstream filtration, ultrafiltration, disinfection and water-reuse systems.
In terms of solid-liquid separation, the Lamella Clarifier efficiently captures suspended solids, turbidity, silt sediments, inorganic granular impurities and chemical-precipitation flocs. It reduces fouling and clogging risks for filter media and membrane elements, protects downstream filtration and biochemical units, and ensures consistently stable effluent quality for river-water intake, circulating make-up water and advanced wastewater-treatment applications.

The complete packaged Lamella Clarifier incorporates full-set process auxiliary units: coagulation-flocculation reaction, lamella high-rate inclined-tube sedimentation, chemical dosing system and electric control system.
Coagulation & Flocculation Reaction System Completes pH adjustment and metered dosing of polymer coagulant and flocculant. Fine particles and colloidal impurities aggregate into dense, settleable large-sized flocs, creating pre-conditions for lamella gravity clarification. Suitable for surface-water intake pretreatment, chemical-precipitation stage of industrial wastewater and advanced polishing of wastewater.
Water Distribution & Lamella Inclined-Tube Sedimentation System Mainly composed of water distribution pipes, lamella inclined-tube packing and overflow weirs. River raw water flows upward through dense lamella packing via distribution pipes. Pollutant flocs settle onto the inner wall of inclined tubes under gravity and slide down automatically. Clarified water collects upwards and discharges through overflow weirs. Lamella packing optimizes flow pattern, restrains turbulent disturbance and prevents short-circuit flow inside the tank.
Chemical Dosing System Complete metering dosing assembly for pH adjusters, polymer coagulants and flocculants. Dosing flow can be adjusted to adapt to raw-water quality variations between dry and rainy seasons.
Electric Control System Supports automatic sludge discharge, dosing interlock, pump-group interlock protection and remote signal output to minimize on-site manual operations.

Take our 150 m³/h Lamella Clarifier project in Malaysia as an example. This project serves a local surface-river raw-water purification plant, treating monsoon-influenced river raw water characterized by high turbidity, abundant suspended silt and significant water-quality differences between dry and rainy seasons.
The customer required a reliable pretreatment solution to reduce influent load for downstream sand-filtration, ultrafiltration and disinfection units, mitigate filter-clogging risks and stabilize pre-treatment effluent. Therefore, the packaged Lamella Clarifier system was selected for this raw-water intake project.
After commissioning and operation, the equipment delivers excellent field performance. It effectively removes suspended solids, turbidity and silt-based particulate contaminants, cuts chemical consumption and operating costs, and optimizes capital expenditure and overall operational expense for the whole water plant. This lamella sedimentation system provides long-term, stable and dependable pretreatment support for the local municipal water-supply facility.

The Lamella Clarifier manufactured by Linzhen can be designed for installation on a concrete foundation and is well-suited for river raw-water treatment projects. We have rich project cases in regions including South Africa and Kazakhstan. For river-water projects featuring high suspended solids and greatly fluctuating influent turbidity, this Lamella Clarifier delivers stable solid-liquid separation performance, reduces turbidity and particle loads, and creates favorable conditions for subsequent processes. For large-scale river-water projects, multiple prefabricated Lamella Clarifier units can run in parallel to achieve expanded treatment capacity. The complete equipment unit is fully pre-assembled at our factory. Project teams only need to prepare a flat concrete foundation on-site, with no requirement to build large concrete sedimentation tanks. Our engineering team can also participate in civil-work scheme optimization and provide practical foundation load and layout parameters for EPC contractors. This significantly lowers civil-construction investment, shortens on-site construction cycles, and brings reliable and cost-effective clarification results for municipal or industrial river water intake projects.
