DAF Dissolved Air Flotation System
A compact, high‑performance solid‑liquid‑liquid separation solution built for industrial and commercial wastewater‑treatment projects. Our DAF Dissolved Air Flotation System leverages proven Dissolved Air Flotation principles to deliver reliable pretreatment for complicated industrial wastewater.
What Is a Dissolved Air Flotation System?
A Dissolved Air Flotation based DAF System works to separate pollutants by micro‑bubble adhesion. When you select our packaged DAF unit, you get pre‑fabricated equipment that can be fully customized according to your required treatment capacity, wastewater characteristics, available installation footprint, and target effluent standards. Every DAF Dissolved Air Flotation System leaving our factory is engineered to match real‑world site constraints, avoiding over‑dimensioning or insufficient performance for your project.
Why Choose Our DAF Dissolved Air Flotation System for Industrial Wastewater?
DAF Dissolved Air Flotation System — Built for the Wastewater That Won't Settle
Emulsified oils, dye colloids, fine fibers, and low-density suspended solids refuse to settle — and shift-based production means influent quality swings hour by hour. Traditional sedimentation tanks can't keep up.
Our packaged DAF system is engineered for exactly these conditions:
Compact, modular footprint — fits tight factory layouts without sacrificing capacity
Strong shock-load resistance — stable separation even when flow and pollutant levels spike
Chemical dosing ready — absorbs sudden surges of SS, emulsified oil, and chromogenic colloids
Micro-bubbles attach firmly onto light-density flocs and float them to the surface for automatic skimming — drastically cutting pollutant load before water reaches your bioreactor or membrane system.
Less clogging. Longer membrane life. Stable effluent.
What Treatment Sub‑Systems Are Integrated Inside Our DAF Dissolved Air Flotation System?
One Package, Complete System — Every Module Pre-Integrated
Our packaged DAF system arrives fully assembled: coagulation reaction, dissolved-air generation and release, flotation separation with automatic skimming, sludge handling, chemical dosing, and electric control are all factory-fitted and tested. No scattered components to assemble on site — just connect inlet, outlet, and power, and the system is ready to run.
1. Coagulation & Flocculation Module — Where Flocs Are Formed
The dosing assembly handles pH adjustment and metered dosing of coagulant and flocculant. Tiny colloids, oil droplets, and fine particles destabilize and aggregate into dense, separable flocs — the essential precondition for efficient flotation.
2. Dissolved-Air Generation & Release Module — The Engine of Flotation
A dissolved-air vessel, circulation pump, and specially designed release device work in sequence: water is saturated with air under pressure, then released as a dense, uniform cloud of micro-bubbles that attach firmly onto pollutant flocs and carry them upward.
3. Flotation Separation & Skimming Module — Where Water Gets Clean
At the heart of the DAF unit, floated contaminants accumulate into a thick scum layer, continuously pushed into the sludge hopper by an automatic scraper. Clarified water exits through the bottom outlet — a clean, steady stream ready for downstream treatment.
One integrated package, three coordinated modules — from floc formation to clean effluent, the entire DAF workflow handled on a single skid.

Project Cases
A local textile printing-and-dyeing plant was struggling with wastewater loaded with high chroma, textile fibers, and emulsified auxiliaries. The client needed dependable pretreatment to cut the pollutant load entering the downstream biochemical system — and to keep fiber and colloidal fouling from compromising the biology.
Our 20 m³/h packaged DAF unit was selected for the job: compact enough for the mill's tight footprint, yet robust enough to absorb the daily swings of batch-based dye production. Working in line with coagulation-flocculation dosing, the system targets the plant's most stubborn fractions — color, fibers, and emulsified auxiliaries.
Since commissioning, the system has delivered stable on-site performance:
SS, chroma, and emulsified contaminants consistently removed down to design targets [建议补充实测数据,如 "SS > 90% removal, chroma > 80% removal"]
Downstream biochemical system running clean, with no fiber-colloid fouling
Reduced sludge handling and chemical consumption, optimizing both CAPEX and OPEX across the plant
For this mill, stable long-term pretreatment is no longer a concern — it's a given. That's what a proven DAF system delivers.
