The treatment process begins with chemical coagulation and sedimentation inside the Lamella Clarifier, where suspended solids, colloids, and hardness-forming particles are effectively removed. The clarified water then enters the RO system, where high-pressure membrane filtration removes dissolved salts, microorganisms, organic contaminants, and remaining impurities to produce high-purity water suitable for industrial production and water reuse.
Compared with conventional RO systems that rely on basic pretreatment, this integrated solution significantly reduces membrane fouling, extends membrane lifespan, lowers maintenance costs, and improves overall system stability. The treatment process combines two proven technologies into one highly efficient purification system.
Raw water first enters the chemical reaction section where coagulants and flocculants are added to aggregate fine suspended particles into larger flocs. The water then flows into the Lamella Clarifier, where multiple inclined plates dramatically increase the effective settling area.
As water travels upward between the inclined plates, suspended solids settle rapidly onto the plate surfaces before sliding by gravity into the sludge hopper. The clarified water exits the sedimentation unit with significantly reduced turbidity and hardness.
This pretreated water is then delivered to the Reverse Osmosis unit. High-pressure pumps force the water through semi-permeable RO membranes that effectively remove dissolved salts, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, organic compounds, and other microscopic contaminants.
The result is a continuous supply of stable, high-purity water while minimizing membrane fouling and reducing long-term operating expenses.
