What is the Plate Filter Press Machine?

After the filter press is pressed and maintained, the filter slurry is forced to passthrough the filter medium under the action of pressure. The solid particles aretrapped on the medium, and the liquid passes through the filter medium, therebyachieving the purpose of separation of liquid and solid.

Working Principle

The working principle of filter presses is that slurry is pumped into the ma-chine such that solids are distributed evenly during the fill cycle. Solidsbuild up on the filter cloth, forming the filter cake; the filtrate exits the filterplates through the corner ports into the manifold, yielding clean filtered
water.
